Multi Jet Fusion (MJF)

Powder-bed polymer process using detailing agents and heat for functional production parts.

Advantages

Good mechanical consistency for many PA parts
Efficient nesting
Faster cooling/turnaround than some SLS workflows in practice

Limitations

Gray/black cosmetics often need dyeing
Bureau process parameters matter
Not universal for all polymers

Nest parts in powder
Print with agents and fusing energy
Cool and unpack
Bead blast and finish

Typical fit: Functional nylon housings and complex low-to-mid volume parts

Compatible Materials

Nylon (PA)

Tough engineering polyamides used in structural and wear components; moisture-sensitive.
